A shipment of various hot pink firearms had come in today and for the life of him York could not remember ordering it. Maybe he had done the inventory order drunk again. It was entirely possible.

York was actually in his armor at work today. Mostly because nobody would be able to tell when he was napping behind the counter this way. He was innovative like that.

York was definitely asleep at the register today. Probably not the smartest thing to do when you owned a gun store but he was confident Delta would wake him up if any shenanigans happened.

Well York wasn't one to complain about free food, even if he found it on the floor when he opened up the shop today. He had a healing unit, surely that would help him if the cookies were poisoned.

York was glued to his phone today. His fantasy teams weren't doing very well. Maybe he should have listened to Delta's advice when it came to football stats and stuff but it felt kind of like cheating. Also York tried to go against whatever Delta said whenever he could on principle.

Please excuse the cursing in the store today. York was trying to get his Space Battles tickets. He had been trying since last night but the stupid websites kept crashing on him and by the time they went back up only 3D tickets were available.

3D didn't really work for him. At all.

Since York mostly stuck to himself he hadn't actually noticed the lack of people in town. Though if he really thought about it he would have realized there were less people in line at the Perk when he went to grab a coffee for his Jamesons.

He wasn't really expecting customers today so he was busy browsing the internet for Halloween costumes.[OCD

If anyone asked, the glass of whisky York was carrying around today at work was iced tea. Just iced tea. Also the copy of Sports Illustrated he was reading was actually an inventory list.

He had no idea why he was making excuses in his head when he owned the place but he had them ready.

Somehow a subscription to Cosmo had started showing up at the store. York blamed Delta for it happening though the AI put up quite an argument against it.

Either way, he wasn't about to throw them away without reading them. Which was why he was learning about ten new ways to please his man right now.
